This is an excellent, savory and unique sandwich using your holiday leftovers!
Ingredients
Cranberry-Dried Plum Relish

cranberries
- (a 12 oz package)

pitted dried plums
▢

orange
- peeled and quartered
▢

pecans
▢
½
cup
Splenda Sugar Blend (or granulated sugar)
Sandwich
▢

cream cheese (Neufchatel, reduced fat, low fat or skim)
- softened

teaspoon
ground sage
▢

slices
pumpernickel bread
▢

turkey
- cooked, thinly sliced

lettuce leaves
Instructions
Make Cranberry-Dried Plum Relish
In food processor, process cranberries, dried plums, orange, pecans and sugar until coarsely chopped, pulsing on and off. Makes 3 ½ cups.
Make Sandwich Filling
In small bowl, mix together cream cheese and sage until blended.
Spread cream cheese mixture evenly on four slices of bread.
On each slice, layer ¼ of turkey, ¼ cup relish and 1 lettuce leaf over cheese mixture
Close with second slice of bread.
Reserve remaining relish for later use.
Store, covered in refrigerator, for up to 1 week.
