Watermelon Toner

Our popular Watermelon Toner is made with the juice of this summer’s melon,  plus vodka and witch hazel. After your cookout this summer, save some of the juice which would otherwise be all over the table, and have fun with this refreshing face cocktail.

Watermelon Toner

Watermelon Juice is very hydrating for the skin, removes excess oil without drying skin, and is a natural moisturizer. Witch Hazel is a gentle astringent ad reduces puffiness. Vodka is a preservative.

Materials

  • 2 Tablespoons fresh watermelon juice
  • 1 Tablespoon vodka
  • 2 Tablespoons witch hazel
  • 2 Tablespoons distilled water

Instructions

  • Drain the watermelon juice to get rid of seeds and fruit pieces.
  • Combine all ingredients in small bowl and stir well.
  • Pour into clean containers with tight-fitting lids.

To use: pour a small amount on a clean cotton pad and apply to face. Store in fridge between uses to retain freshness. The vodka is important — it acts as a preservative, allowing you to keep this toner in the fridge for one week.
