Green Kiwi Pistachio Spinach Smoothie – Skyterra Recipe
Skyterra Wellness Retreat in North Carolina has a new partnership with Killer Bees Honey which has brought hives to the southwest slope. The Bees have ramped up for honey-making season and Skyterra’s Chef Michael Vess is already using honey harvested right from Skyterra. This is a guest favorite Green Smoothie, a rich, nutrient-packed smoothie, and a surefire way to up your daily dose of leafy greens while keeping you full and satisfied.
Ingredients
- 2 bananas - ripe, frozen
- 1 kiwi - peeled
- ½ cup mango - frozen
- 2 Tbsp. pistachios
- ½ Tbsp. raw honey - local if possible
- ½ Tbsp. pure vanilla extract
- 16 oz. coconut water - unsweetened
- 1 cup spinach - raw
- 2 pinches berries or nuts - optional garnish
Instructions
- Add ingredients except the spinach into the blender and puree until smooth.
- Add in spinach and pulse until smooth.

Didn’t care for this. Nothing wrong, just wasn’t my jam. I think Kiwi just doesn’t have enough personality to show up and get a ribbon.
It’s a fine green smoothie. I think Kiwi is boring so was able to use some up.
