Mynd Spa Salon Closed – Gift Card Exchange
Day spa pioneer, Elizabeth Arden, opened her first spa location in 1910 and it became a symbol of beauty around the world.
In 2019, her brand of Red Door Salons & Spas were reborn as Mynd Spas & Salons.
Sadly, less than year later, all Mynd Spa Salon locations were shuttered permanently, following bankruptcy proceedings.
FOR INFORMATION ON GIFT-CARD EXCHANGE OFFERS
- Spa Index Guide to Spas has never and does not ever sell, buy or exchange gift cards or gift certificates — for this, or any other brand. We will update this post, however, if we learn of offers or methods to redeem your purchased gift certificates. Sadly, this one was such a S-Storm that few merchants are willing to take on the enormous population of cheated former clients and customers, by honoring discounts at any level.

They RUINED a legacy in no time flat and glad everyone agrees
I’m holding gift cards also with no apparent value. I was saving up for a spa day last spring that never happened. I’ll follow this thread to see if we ever have a course of action. Very disappointed.
There are plenty of us in the industry who are equally dumbfounded and dismayed at how quickly this brand was ruined by the Mynd group. Sorry to everyone who was harmed by this fiasco.
i have a gift card for Red Door Spa and want to know if i can use it for some Elizabeth Arden products on line.
I too have a RED DOOR SPA gift certificate and I contacted Elizabeth Arden regarding using it for their products. They refuse any responsibility in this shit show of a sale of a business. I was NOT contacted by Elizabeth Arden or the new owners of The Red Door Spas about a change in ownership (I was a registered RED DOOR SPA account holder online for many years). My 21 year old son proudly gives me a gift certificate for Mother’s Day 2019 from RED DOOR SPAS. I heard the spas were closing for COVID-19 in March 2020. I was not notified about the change of ownership from Elizabeth Arden or from Mynd Spas & Salons which I think should have been a requirement of the sale. Nor was I contacted about the closing of said spas permanently. So Elizabeth Arden & Mynd Spas & Salons can legally qualify to transact the sale of a well established long standing business and then the new owner turn around to file bankruptcy in less than a year? This is so sketchy that I refuse to do any future business with Elizabeth Arden and will file a complaint to the Better Business Bureau.
I thought I could use it towards Elizabeth Arden products on their website, but you can’t. I called them and they confirmed you can’t use it. Pretty unfortunate.
