Ingredients
- 1 cup domestic Mascarpone
- 1 cup simple syrup 50/50 ratio*
- 1 vanilla bean split and scraped, seeds retained.
Instructions
- Combine ingredients well.
- Freeze according to your ice cream maker's manufacturer’s directions. Soft, for a parfait dessert, or in a pan to freeze for awhile longer, so you can scoop into traditional ice-cream scoops.

We made our simple syrup 50/50 with granulated sugar and SPLENDA (or you could use Splenda for Baking, which is exactly that) and while it will not be quite as thick as traditional simple syrup, you will achieve the same results as with thicker syrup. Use your favorite sweetener if you prefer a natural alternative.
