Had an amazing first experience at Woodhouse Spa. From the moment I was greeted I felt welcomed, comfortable, and relaxed. The robes are heavenly. MJ gave me one of the best massages of my life and was able to adjust the pressure and techniques as she went based on what my body needed. I’m already planning my next visit back!

I came for a massage which was good, but not the best massage I've ever gotten. At the end, the front staff tried to push 3 different products on me to buy along with a package of massages. They did not disclose any prices to me but kept pushing that my masseuse really recommends them for me. Feeling pressured, I bought one product and when I left I looked at my receipt and it was $110 for ONE PRODUCT! Realizing this was outrageous, I looked online and it stated that products can be returned within 30 days. Two days later, I went back to return this product, never opened, and they told me I could not return it due to COVID. Since COVID has been around for almost 2 years, they should update their website since it has false information. Safe to say I will never go back.
The price of the item would have been disclosed had you asked or checked the transaction before signing / paying, so we err on the Spa's side with this one. However, the return is another matter. Were you able to screen-capture the website return-policy language which acts as a "billboard" for the policies? Would recommend doing so as we view this as a "price on the display shelf" much like you'd see in a major retail establishment. Be sure you check any published Covid policies, as well, and screen-capture that as well. If it doesn't address a policy refusing returns, you may be able to contact Woodhouse Corporate to request a return authorization / refund or credit based on those terms, so long as the item remains unopened (and hopefully in a box). If no response, perhaps you could use the screen shots to contact your financial institution to disallow the transaction based on the policy discrepancies. -- Spa Index
