Make your appointment today. Had three different services with 3 different people and they were all amazing!
Visiting The Woodhouse was a lovely experience, from beginning to end. We had to reschedule unexpectedly after my friend was exposed to covid and they were so helpful in rescheduling and working with us to find a time to stop in. All the staff members were great, the massage was fantastic, and the facial was better than anywhere else I've been. They're obviously taking every precaution for covid but it doesn't hamper the experience at all! That's no small task!
My experience at this Woodhouse Spa was NOT relaxing. Before my appointment I was sent an email to fill out. The questions included robe size, slipper size, favorite drink, etc. I was so excited about my spa day that I showed up 20 minutes before my appointment to make sure i had time to relax. It was raining and when I got up to the door, there was a sign saying i needed to call a number before coming in. Standing in the rain, I called only to be told to come back 5 minutes before my appointment.
Sadly, I sat in my car and waited. I get it -- distancing, right?
Except when it was my time to come in, I stood in the small lobby with multiple people all waiting to be checked in/out. There was no where relaxing to sit, no beverages were offered, no robes were provided.
I was taken straight into my massage room, received a very weak "deep tissue" massage and I left.
I think updated paperwork would be helpful in setting guest expectations and to pass the message along that there is a number to call before coming in and that certain amenities don't exist right now.
All in all, it was expensive for the same level of quality I believe Hand & Stone does -- so I paid first class prices for a budget experience.
