The Ranch Malibu, California’s award-winning structured wellness program, will open the doors to its first East Coast destination in Hudson Valley, NY – about 45 minutes from New York City.
Located in a stunning and historic location – The Table Rock Estate – which has already had a long life as a retreat center, the 40,000 square-foot property is set amongst 200 forested acres. The Gilded Age lakefront estate was built by JP Morgan in the early 1900s as a wedding gift for his daughter, Juliet, who married Alexander Hamilton’s great grandson, William Pierson Hamilton.
Opening this Spring 2024, The Ranch Hudson Valley will immerse guests in nature as they experience the core elements of The Ranch’s structured program – hiking, fitness classes, yoga, deep tissue massage and organic, plant-based meals. Health and fitness programming will be available all year, with special outdoor programs like kayaking and stand up paddleboarding in the Summer months. Guests will also have quick access to some of the area’s all-time best trails in Harriman State Park or step right off the property to hike in Ringwood State Park. Onsite, guests can experience amenities including a solarium, indoor and outdoor pools, Jacuzzi, cold plunge, IV therapy, colon hydrotherapy, Energy Healing, infrared and cryotherapy saunas.
As with The Ranch Malibu, a nutrient-dense, plant-based diet will be served, with many of the ingredients harvested from an onsite organic garden or supplied by local, organic farms.
Programs will range from short 3-4 night stays, or longer stays curated for your goals.

My husband and I just returned from a 4 day program at The Ranch and it was absolutely incredible.
If you are a design enthusiast, like me, you will find the grounds and interiors incredibly inspiring. We stayed in Morgan which was palatial and spacious, and looked right out onto the back of the property, overlooking Sheppard Pond.
The food was ingenious and delicious, we left incredibly inspired by the plant based focus and hope to include it in our repertoire at home.
Though the terrain of the hikes were rugged, the scenery we captured during our walks were breathtaking, and the daily massages were the best way to wind down from an active morning. Some of my favorite classes were the breathwork and sound bath - highly recommend!
The staff were just an all-star team. Attentive, informative, and you were always met with enthusiasm.
What a special and incredible experience! As a guest here, you have the chance to stay in a meticulously and thoughtfully renovated historic mansion and estate with a small group (around 25) of other travelers - that alone is reason enough to visit. Then you add the delicious and healthy meals, variety of activities (including the incredible daily massages), luxurious indoor and outdoor swimming pools, crackling evening fires, and friendly, accommodating staff - and you have a standout. It’s worth noting that this is a social experience where you’ll meet new people, and one that is more structured with a daily schedule of activities and meal times - very much “camp” for adults. I visited in the summer, but could easily imagine this being a wonderful getaway in any season. The perfect way to reset and enjoy the beauty of the Hudson Valley (and only an hour drive from the city).
If you want to change your life for the better, this is the place for you. This stunning resort tucked in the Hudson Valley has forever altered my perspective on health, self-care and well-being. I also made friends, people who shared the adventure and will see again well after my visit.
I admit, I was skeptical at first, thinking the exercise program and plant-based diet may be more than I could handle. That all changed the moment I arrived. I was greeted by a warm and welcoming staff who made me feel like I could accomplish anything. The food was delicious! I was delightfully surprised at the creativity and flavor Chef Michael presented at every meal. Leilani, the resort’s General Manager, focused on the experience making sure every detail mattered. The hiking trails were challenging at first for a novice like me but the guides were always there to help and by the last day, I felt like I could keep going. The rooms were incredibly comfortable and relaxing. After a long day of activities, I couldn’t wait to just unwind and prepare for the following day. I also enjoyed daily enhancements which helped with the post-hike recovery.
Those few days spent at the Ranch will always remind me that I can achieve more than I ever thought I could.
Truly a transformative experience I’ll never forget!
