Golf Vacations

Just 100 metres from the hotel is a 18-hole, par 72 and 6,316m championship golf course set over 70 hectares. The course consists of various gentle slopes and some undulated fairways. Its three streams, the large water hazards at holes 1, 2, 3, 9 and 18, the bunkers of siliceous sand and the greens surrounded by gradual slopes not only offer technical challenges but also provide a striking scenic backdrop.  Conceived by the California architect Ronald Fream of the internationally renowned Golfplan Studio, it has been designed with total respect for the environment.

Not far from the entrance to the resort is a flourishing organic kitchen garden.  The resort offers an approach to a new lifestyle, the beginning of a renaissance whose natural starting point is what we eat. The secret behind the light but tasty dishes is the organic kitchen garden produce that uses the philosophy of well-being to give a twist to the best of Tuscan gastronomic tradition. So pleasure becomes the key to rediscovering the joy of healthy eating.   The hotel’s restaurants offers the finest in Tuscan traditional cuisine, with unusual and sophisticated combinations, inspired by the philosophy of “the pleasure of well-being.” It’s an unmistakable culinary style that emphasizes the highest quality primary materials and fresh and natural “zero kilometre” ingredients, from organic and biodynamic sources.    The resort’s restaurant was first awarded a Michelin Star in 2012, and has maintained it ever after.
