We were treated in a rush, the front desk employee mentioned the closing hours to me and my husband, like in other words, letting us know that our time for services was very limited, she also mentioned that we could not use the steam room or the lockers because of the time we arrived. She also mentioned that the usage of the steam room was complementary and we did not need to know that, if that was something we had to pay, we would also pay for those services. We noticed some attitude from her and while we would respond to her, she would even make faces. We were rushed into a massage room, we ended up deciding to leave the massage room because we felt rushed “tensed”, we payed a 50% for both services. We did not had a place to put our things away, store our valuables. We felt uncomfortable. First time this happens.
I really tried to like this place and gave it a few tries even though there were issues in each of my visits.
My husband booked me a 70 minute long Hydrafacial which - according to their website - also includes a hand and foot massage. He dropped me off and the lady at front told us what time I would be done (approximately 70 minutes later). To my shock, I was done in 40 minutes. During those 40 minutes my esthetician burned my neck with a hot towel, I had a red mark on my neck when I walked out of the spa as well as a few bumps in that area. I was very disappointed but did not want to complain being that the burn happened at the start of my service, I was also very disappointed that the foot massage they advertised was not included.
A few days earlier than that, I had also gone in for a petit shellac mani. While friendly, the person who performed the service was given wrong information by the desk and started just a mini manicure, which did not include shellac. When I realized this, she said the front desk girl had entered the wrong info and she redid my nails. When I went to pay they charged me for a FULL shellac mani (instead of the petite one I had booked). I paid and tipped of course -- but again I knew I was going to come back in a few days for the facial and I didn't want to complain before that service.
I submitted a review as they requested via email the same night they performed my facial (so now two services) and no one has even reached out to apologize.
I will not be going back. I fell for the atmosphere of the spa but just because it looks good does not mean they will perform good service.
I also accidentally exited the wrong way through the back when leaving and saw the receptionist just scrolling through her phone, she hid it as soon as she saw me.
A year ago I booked a couples massage through Radiance because I had always had great experiences there prior.
The day of the couples massage they called to let me know that one masseuse had called in sick and that one of us could take a facial appointment instead. I decided to take the facial because my fiancé didn’t want it. I wasn’t offered a discount on it or anything.
Then, today, I had a facial and massage booked for relaxation before my wedding in 3 days. This morning I received a call, and yet again, my masseuse called in sick.
This time I was not offered anything in return. I was only placed on a list to call me if something opens up soon. I came in for my facial and no discount was applied to my facial or offer to cover my upcoming massage.
It has now been 2 years since my last massage because Radiance has called off my massage the day off twice in a row.
Both of my facials were performed by Nicole and she was very nice, informative, and a wonderful technician. I would recommend her to anyone, but I wouldn't and didn't return for the massage.
