Practically Perfect Day Spa & Salon – Canton

Just moved to Canton and looked at reviews and searched for a new salon for 5 months before deciding on this salon. I’ve never had to find a new hairdresser before so I was nervous. Once I settled on this salon I came in and was met with a color/stylist at the register. She was very welcoming did a quick consultation where I told her about my hair journey and she set me up an appointment. I opted in for the extra fusio treatments and I always spend the extra to take care of my hair; I was excited! The date of my appointment came and once I was in the chair it was realized the salon was out of supplies and couldn’t do my hair. No big deal, things happen.. rescheduled. Next appointment came and the stylist had the best personality, and I THOUGHT I was having a great time. During the time I was getting the color and bleach taken out of my hair, she told me I had some breakage.. and showed me some. It did not seem more than normal and so I brushed it off. The cut and style went by very quickly as the salon as closing so I paid and left. They stylist asked me to Venmo her tip to her which I did. When I got home, like every gal does I went straight to the mirror. Immediately upon looking I found the entire top layer of my hair chemically burned off. Did I have previous blinding.. yes. Did I explain what was done to my hair.. yes. Was it only ever processed professionally.. yes. Was I in shock… YES
20% of my hair is literally burned off. I immediately contacted my color/stylist and while she apologized that was it. I reached out to ownership and they refunded me $130 of my $315. I took it because it was better than nothing, but I’m appalled that even though the stylist and salon admitted the mistake I still had to pay for product used and tip. Honestly just bad business. They did offer free moisturizing treatments but I’ll never return. I’ll be busy regrowing my hair out for the next two years and they could not care less. Stay away unless you have virgin hair and living on a prayer. Leaving names out because I’m not trying to ruin any reputations, just raise awareness

I had the BEST service with Kendall. She was friendly and we had no trouble chatting the whole time. She was detailed and straightforward. She has a ton of color options and my nails look absolutely fantastic! She shaped them perfectly and has a gentle touch when filing and buffing! I am beyond pleased! I already made my next appointment!
