The Osthoff Resort — elegant, yet comfortable. Nearby, but away from it all. A summer escape or a winter weekend getaway. Spacious suites and friendly service which make you feel at home; casual dining and enough activities that you’ll know you’re away.
Take a splash in the lake or relax in a whirlpool. Treat yourself to a massage, or your kids to our Pleasures™ Program. Satisfy your appetite in our restaurants. Have fun inside or out. You’ll find all the amenities you’d expect, and some you might not, at your place on the lake — such as our Culinary School, where a delicious workshop can be made a part of your stay, or a five day course in French Cuisine as your reason to visit. We’ll guide you each step of the way, teaching skills to the home chef of today. Learning is always delicious at your place on the lake.
Aspira Spa is “… a wonderful reason to visit, or another great reason to stay.” Offering a complete range of treatments to soothe the mind, body and soul, or just an invigorating massage at the end of the day. Private spa suites (pictured) are designed to complement nature, taking in the tranquility, beauty and energy of the lake. Don’t miss the exceptional Meditation Sanctuary (pictured).

Really enjoyed my massage and the amenities. Robes and sandals were comfy, staff was pleasant and helpful. I would go again, but I only gave 4 stars for a few reasons. First, there are very few signs directing you where on the property the spa is. The entrance is not super obvious, so better signage would have been helpful. There is also not enough parking overall for the resort, so we had to park on the street and walk to the spa. Also, the website could be more informative. I didn't see any info about the locker room/shower facilities, so I feel I would have prepared differently if I had that information. Finally, the shower doors have a frosted rectangle in the middle that doesn't do a whole lot for coverage, and no hooks for robes and/or towels. So if you plan to shower there, be prepared to bare it all for anyone in the locker room to see.
Our stay was a quick, 3-day between the holidays getaway. This was our first time here and the best way I can describe our stay is "not quite as advertised". The Osthoff is an impressive property, however our visit fell short of what I would expect from a 4-5 Diamond resort. We stayed in a 4th floor room overlooking the courtyard. The first thing I noticed in the room was the glass shower door was water stained. Maybe a simple oversight by housekeeping, but then I noticed a pretty thick layer of dust inside the television armoire and food crumbs on top of the mini refrigerator, as if only the bed in the room was refreshed between guests. On our second day, we returned to our room after dinner around 7pm to find we did not get any housekeeping or towel refresh. I called the front desk to learn housekeeping and towel refresh is only "by request" which I found strange for this type of property. There is also no bell or valet service available.
The Aspira Spa was very nice and 100% as advertised.
We are by no means hotel snobs and maybe we just happened to stay during an off week but the hotel definitely needs to pay closer attention to details, especially housekeeping if they are going to call themselves 4 or 5 diamond.
The space is tranquil and beautiful. Everything is very tidy. The sauna and Jacuzzis were very welcoming, especially outside on a very cold day. The huge showers have multiple jets and the robes are nice and toasty. I only gave it 4 stars because they could have more amenities.
