The Norefjell Ski & Spa Resort is located in a historical area where the 1952 Winter Olympic Games were played.
The resort offers recreation and spa experiences in an atmosphere unlike any other in Norway. Our visual identity is based on details from Norefjells nature and wildlife. The area consists of 244 hotel rooms of which 121 are double rooms and 123 suites and 161 apartments in the village.
Wellness and Activities
The resort offers ski in – ski out, a 16 meter high indoor climbing wall, ice rink, spa, pool and restaurant. Over 800 meters above sea level, guests can relax in our Wellness Spa overlooking the mountains. We offer both indoor and outdoor areas to relax, whatever the weather and conditions are like.
Parents can enjoy Bøeseter Bath & Training where everything is laid out for the younger ones. With Norefjells famous ski slopes only a stone’s throw away, the whole family can enjoy the slopes, before our own ski lift brings you back to the luxurious apartments and hotel rooms.
Green Travel
Miljøvarme VSEB AS provides for the supplement of renewable heat. Almost all the heat that goes to the hot water and heating system come from biofuels. As long as we do not take out more than nature produces, the supply of fuel never ends. This is renewable and environmentally friendly bio-energy. In addition, the fuel used by us is so called short-distance fuel. The trees are felled and processed into pellets in Hallingdal, only 10 to 12 miles from the hotel.

This is the most magical hotel which I ever visited and I could totally relax, enjoy every single hour, be happy, try delicious food, explore amazing atmosphere. its just paradise on earth. I recommend to everyone, especially who wants escape and stop the time for a moment. I am grateful and thankful I can get a massages at such a wonderful place. Its just a pleasure to be around so amazing people. You take care of all details and make people smiling. Thank you for being part of the hotel life.
Pros: Spa, pool, nightclub, pizzeria and reception area are great. Great location with great hills for downhill. Also exceptional tracks/courses for x-country. Cons: Rooms are a bit worn out and needs some refurbishment. Prices are high and way off even for a Norwegian resort.
