We booked this hotel 5 nights specifically for all the amenities listed and offered on the website. We FIRST checked the website which stated everything was open, before we booked and left for our several hundred miles drive.
Turns out, the hotel, café, gift shop, and the spa were all CLOSED during the week, and then we were given a temporary list of the available hours for the weekends only. We pointed out that because we are staying through the week and checking out Sunday morning, we will only get to utilize the amenities for ONE out of our FIVE night stay.
I understand they have trouble staffing right now, but it seems like false advertising to list everything as OPEN on their website but then have very limited hours -- and not clearly specified. Being open weekends only isn't the same as just saying OPEN.
If you just want an expensive room with a view of some glass pyramids I guess it's worth it, but if you want the amenities for every day of your stay, it isn't.
We quite agree and have forwarded your comments to the hotel team for a response. We'll ask them to respond and/or contact you directly. -- Spa Index
Pros: The spa was excellent and the pool with swim-up bar was very nice.
Cons: It's time for renovations and extermination. Carpet and walls had stains. Bed was comfortable but the spread print was dissolving like it had been bleached or washed too many times. We had a roach visit our room.
Went for a couples romantic spa retreat it was amazing. The Hydro bath was very relaxing.
