Travel to the Finger Lakes region in New York to visit it’s newest spa hotel. Opened in 1994, and recently renovated and reopened in the summer 2020.
The Lake House is the first property of its kind on the banks of Canandaigua Lake. The inn’s picturesque buildings and landscaped grounds are the perfect setting to explore the regions’ year-round outdoor experiences. There are 125 guest rooms (several are designated pet-friendly), a timber frame barn for weddings and events, an outdoor swimming pool and hot tub, and a destination spa and wellness center.

I have been to the spa three times for a pedicure and I wish I had something great to say. Each time it has been a disappointment from the service to the experience. It is so disappointing as I love the Lakehouse. There is nothing about the experience that says top shelf or special. At the price the staff should pamper you. You should have much better chairs to sit in, but the atmosphere is almost like they added some cushy chairs as an afterthought to the spa (no heat and no message feature). I still have money left on a gift card that will be much better spent on food and drink.
My husband Nicolas and I had a wonderful 3 nights at The Lake House. The room was OUTSTANDING - so clean, gorgeous décor, and comfortable bedding. Their signature line of toiletries smells amazing, and the shower was awesome. The resort has bikes available for use which we loved as well as fire pits to sit by in the evenings. I also really enjoyed my time at the spa, and my favorite treatments were the sauna and the facial. Everyone was SO SO nice, helpful, and accommodating. We’re already planning our next trip.
The view is spectacular and they treat you like royalty!
