Eskaya Beach Resort & Spa is a beautiful Philippines Resort Spa on Panglao Island which is at the southernmost tip of Bohol, Philippines. The name Eskaya refers to the only known indigenous people of Bohol. It is located halfway through Panglao along its coast facing Bohol Sea. It is a sprawling property which covers 16 hectares and has a commanding view of the sea. On the higher ground of the resort, you can view a mountain with lush vegetation. Down the beach is a long stretch of white, powdery sand.
The resort is boutique in style and architecture is decidedly Filipino with a splash of modern amenities. The thatched villas or “balai” in the dialect, are single-detached. These are built with sturdy and indigenous materials, including bamboo, cogon, and wood. Most of the villas have individual private swimming pools.
The focal point of the resort is the infinity swimming pool which blends with the sea at its bluest. The spacious restaurant has a cool feeling, yet with a warm ambiance and plenty of sea view. Dining can also be enjoyed al fresco at the beach, poolside or in the garden.
Handuraw Spa at Eskaya is tranquil yet modern. It offers a gracious fusion of traditional therapies and modern spa technology, a melting pot of Asian healing practices and rich European spa traditions.

One of the nicest resorts we've ever visited. It has a VERY neat feature we have not seen at other spas -- Midnight! The spa was open until midnight so you can spend a day on the water, swimming, eating, diving, snorkeling, nd then get a massage right before bed? That's heavenly. I hope it's still available when we return later this year. I think hours would be affected by Covid but perhaps they will keep this nifty amenity -- late night spa treatments.
If you want peace and quiet, this is where you should stay. I believe they only have villas so expect that it is on the pricier end. Each villas has its own Jacuzzi and pool. The restaurant offers wines and a limited selection of beers. They also have a spa and an infinity pool.
