I meant it when I said I won’t stop until I’ve plastered my story, and my challenge to you, over every corner of the internet. This isn’t about revenge. It’s about accountability. And it’s about protecting other vulnerable clients from going through what my father went through at your facility.

Let’s rewind: my father, elderly and in the final stage of his life, was booked for a pedicure at your “spa.” He has neuralgia, among other conditions, and had no idea that this kind of service was dangerous for someone in his state. He trusted your team to know what was safe.

Instead, he was subjected to an hour of aggressive, unnecessary exfoliation from a technician named Maria Tlaseca. The damage she caused would be bad enough on a healthy person, but for someone with nerve damage? It was cruel.

He then sat in a hot tub—immediately after the service—leaving his micro-abraded feet open to infection. Again, had anyone asked a single question about his health, this whole incident could’ve been avoided. But you have no intake procedures, no screening, no safeguards. Just a bloated service menu and a conveyor belt of clients.

This isn’t just careless, Marylyn—it’s dangerous. And when I tried to talk to your manager, Tracey, about it, she brushed it off with, “We’re not a med spa.” As if that means basic ethical standards no longer apply.

I’m a licensed massage therapist with nearly 10 years of experience, and I can say confidently: you don’t need to be a med spa to ask your clients about their medical history. You just need to care.

You weren’t there. You were on vacation. But this is your business, and this is your responsibility. My father doesn’t want to waste his final months tied up in court, or you’d be looking at a civil suit. That’s your lucky break.

But I’ll be watching. You now have six months to implement real safety procedures and show that you actually care about the health of the people who walk through your doors. If I come back and find that nothing’s changed, I will release the photos of my father’s injuries and make sure this story is shared far and wide—even farther than this review.

And one more thing—you might want to deal with those steam and sauna rooms. I’ve heard they’ve been shut down for ages and are anything but clean. Just one more sign that no one’s truly checking for quality at Bergamos.

Service was just ok was not together with my husband most of the day. Men side hot tub was not working and steam room was not working

I enjoyed a full day at Bergamos. As a recommendation, Siri is phenomenal with massages. Selena is excellent with facials and Maria is the the best at the body scrubs and pedicures. Thanks for making my day special ladies. Lastly, do not miss out on a moment in the salt room. I will be back!!
