Located in a restored factory from 1902 in River West, close to the West Loop, AIRE Chicago gives you access to this preserved structure brought back to its original splendor, where you can see the original exposed brick, wooden beams, and industrial columns of the building. Inside those walls a unique experience for the body and mind awaits, in a journey through the traditional Roman, Greek and Ottoman ancient experience of baths.
Services include the co-ed Bathing Circuit, private Massage, and private Salt Exfoliation. The Ancient Thermal Bath experience allows guests to experience 6 thermal baths (hot bath, ice bath and cold plunges, warm bath, salt bath, and jet bath) as well as steam rooms at different steam intensity with aromatherapy. AIRE tea and cold water is served as a refreshment in a relaxation area. Locker rooms are fully equipped with shampoo, shower gel, body lotion and hairdryers as well as robes, towels and slippers. Each guest bathing session is 90 minutes and the experience can last up to 3 hours when combined with spa services.
Guests must be aged 18 and over. Valet parking is available.

Loved my experience at Aire in NY, and Chicago did not disappoint! My husband and I really loved our experience here. We got the Himalayan Salt Package. Our Masseuses did wonders for us, we left feeling like we were walking on air. And a week later, my husband's skin has cleared up tremendously. He had back acne and thanks to the intense salt scrub, it's gone. We're so amazed and happy. The actual baths are lovely as well. There's many options to choose from, and nice surprises not disclosed on the website. The layout of the baths felt like a maze at first and we quite liked that. It made everything feel much more private and as though we were discovering each new thing. Staff was also thorough and friendly. Highly impressed and would recommend again and again.
Just amazing hidden in a obscure alleyway. The baths were amazing. Tried the cold plunge - highly recommend. Both saunas smelled and felt amazing! Massage took it over the top. Highly recommend.
We came to Chicago on vacation. Aire's website attracted me with its photos.
When we arrived we discussed No Photos Inside of the spa as No Cameras allowed. I will say I was very sad for not being able to get any; the interior is a beautiful oasis as depicted on the website.
There is a lot of staff inside guiding clients along. The massage I received, though only 45 minutes (I normally do 90) was thoroughly effective that even in it's short span it was very beneficial.
There are a number of pools and they seem to limit the number of guests at a time so it never felt crowded. The 2 hour time limit was decent enough time for me.
It is a great couples place, or special occasion place. I did feel transported.
There is valet parking. We took this option. It seemed the best and easier course. They guided us afterwards to the spa which is hidden by the alley.
