DIY Pumpkin Body Moisturizer
This is a terrific and so-simple (3 ingredients!) DIY pumpkin body moisturizer recipe, courtesy of Summer at Vegan Beauty Review, to calm and sooth wintery dry skin.
Pumpkin is a SuperFood (loaded with dietary nutrients) and it’s no surprise it does a body good, inside and out. Pumpkins are rich in antioxidants, beta-carotine, zinc, vitamins A & C, and natural alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), which aid in natural exfoliation and leaves your skin healthy and soft. Coconut Oil is moisture-rich with essential fatty acids, and Cinnamon, besides smelling wonderful, is anti-microbial.
Combine the three, and you have a super pumpkin moisturizer which keeps well in the refrigerator to get through the dry winter skin phase.
