Biggest Loser Cone-Nolis
This recipe for Biggest Loser Cone-Nolis is a fun treat, easy and fast. We made these for the birthday party in place of cake. Everyone gobbled them up and all were delighted with the change of pace dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 cup ricotta cheese - skim or low fat
- 1 tablespoon Agave Nectar (or honey)
- 1 tablespoon cocoa - preferred 70% natural dark
- 1 handful dark chocolate chunks - coarsely chopped
- 1-2 drops Amaretto Flavoring - optional
- 4 Sugar Cones - naturally sweetened (recommend "Let's Do Organic" brand)
Instructions
- Using a whisk, mix the ricotta, agave, amaretto (if using) and 1/2 tablespoon of the chocolate until well combined. Cover this mixture and chill it for at least an hour to allow the filling to meld flavors and chill.
- Divide the ricotta mixture evenly among four cones (1/4 cup each).
- Sprinkle the remaining chocolate pieces evenly over the cones.

Good. Filled with different toppings from bowls for a “DIY” Cone-desserts. This was a better birthday party treat for the kids because the ice cream doesn’t melt and make a mess and the kids loved making their own toppings and combinations — and didn’t even notice I was using a whipped sweetened cottage cheese and ricotta mixture with very little sugar!
Wonderful idea!
