Best Wine Country Spa Hotels and Resorts in the USA
WINE COUNTRY SPA HOTELS IN NAPA ... AND BEYOND
Spa Treatments and Wine are made for one another. Taste, aroma, sensation and a feeling of well-being all come into play, when drinking wine, eating cuisine cooked with wine, and enjoying spa treatments featuring vinotherapy — the healing properties of the grapes and seeds.
When we hear “wine country spa getaway” most think “ah, Napa Valley.” It’s true that about 95 percent of the wine produced in the USA comes from California, but did you know the USA is blessed with many beautiful vineyards and wineries dotting the wine country landscape? California has many more wine regions than the most well known in Napa and Sonoma, and Texas has the second largest wine region in the USA, after Napa.

Missing quite a few good winery hotels in Napa Sonoma unless they have to have spas on site?
Teresa — exactly! Spa Index shares our picks for Inns, Hotels Resorts, and Retreats which offer a variety of lifestyle activities, and in this case — it’s wineries and wine tasting rooms, or, spas in wine country and wine regions. The one unifying amenity or activity all our destinations, posts, and lists share — is a spa and wellness component. By all means share your favorites if you have them!
Good for NY and NorthWest, what about Western Canada? Anyone have recommendations?
Nice tips, but not many. There should be dozens more wine country spa resorts to visit. Do they need to pay you to be on this list?
No, and in fact, they cannot do so solely to be included on a “Best of” list. We prefer to visit and make our own recommendations. That said, we are always delighted when an Inn or hotel invites us to come tour the property and share our experience with our readers.
Stayed and enjoyed several of these — looking forward to the Texas options
There are some interesting places, thanks for this list!
