The Fairmont Pittsburgh overlooks PNC Park, with views of the restored downtown and the Pittsburgh city skyline. Guests of the hotel and visitors to the spa are in the center of everything best about the city. The third-floor 6,000 square foot Spa and Health Club were renovated in 2013 to include spa treatment rooms and manicure pedicure stations, and the result is a beautiful escape in the city, welcoming day guests and hotel guests alike. Services include fitness, skin care, massage, manicures, pedicures, steam and sauna rooms, and spa party events.
My monthly membership gives me a clean, bright and inviting place of refuge in the city. After a work out I can enjoy the steam and sauna, or relax with a beverage in the lounge. It includes a facial or massage every month, so no reason to ignore my skin care. If I book additional services, I receive a discount. I was invited to book the manicure pedicure area for my bridal party and I most certainly will.

Having personally witnessed numerous horror stories at skin care clinics and nail care salons, as part of my career in the industry, I instantly feel at ease when I walk into any establishment which is scrupulously clean, and yet avoids feeling like a laboratory. The owner and aesthetic team here have managed to make a modern, clean, welcoming and warm medical spa, day spa, and nail care salon, all in one. The excellent service and results seals the deal.

Judit European Day Spa is a full service day spa offering organic skin care (Éminence Organic Skin Care), massage, waxing, manicures and pedicures, body scrubs and wraps, and spa day packages.
I received my best facial this year, with my favorite skincare line. This esthetician’s rates were more affordable than other locations offering this wonderful line and I received top notch customer service, as well. I was totally relaxed and at home at this day spa despite being a first time guest on an obviously heavily booked day.

More than center for massage, this wellness place offers a unique approach to ensuring clients are supported on more than physical level. The wellness staff includes Massage Therapists, Energy workers and even a Psychotherapist, who together form a team to provides clients with successful health, stress reduction.
While no hair care or traditional aesthetic services are offered, my partner reviewer and I agreed we simply felt better physically after our visit here, with treatments from Angie and Rebecca, than any other place.

The village of Sewickley, just 11 miles NW of downtown Pittsburgh, is home to Casa Dolce Spa. Casa Dolce was nominated by many readers as offering among the best manicures and pedicures in the outlying area.
This was my best mani of the year. Well worth the drive from downtown Pittsburgh. I’ve had gel manicures several times and they are rather horrid on my nails, which tend to be thin and easily damaged. Casa Dolce’s nail technician needed to soak off my existing polish before giving me a fresh manicure. I explained my trepidation about nail damage and she told me not to worry, she’d take special care. This is the first gel polish removal that didn’t damage my nails, and her expert care in applying the new manicure left me very happy indeed.
