Our Best Hotel Spa was a tie courtesy of reader tips and votes. Ponte Vedra Spa at the Ponte Vedra Inn is located in a spacious square-foot facility situated on 3.1 acres beachfront acres approximately 20 miles east of Jacksonville.
At PV Spa, guests enjoy a full service menu with more than 100 different treatments ranging from manicures, pedicures, skin care, hair, body, in addition to a bevy of amenities making for a perfect Spa Day.
This includes all day packages, half day packages, sauna, steam, and Jacuzzi, and a spa dining room for light fare. Plentiful relaxation areas with lush decor and waterfalls surround guests who engage in quiet conversation, read, and doze, making this an ideal location to spend an entire day recharging your winter batteries.
My best friend and I enjoyed a couples massage in a private suite, sauna, steam and spa lunch over several hours, followed by a walk on the grounds and a stroll on the beach. Our best full spa day in the Jacksonville area.

Our Best Hotel Spa was a tie courtesy of reader tips and votes. One Ocean Spa is a full service luxury day spa located in the hotel. Day Guests are welcome. Services include therapeutic massage, sea-inspired body rituals (scrubs, masks and wraps), a Vichy Shower wet room, manicures and pedicures, skin care, packages for singles and partners, separate relaxation and changing rooms, an ocean view duo suite with Swiss showers, a refreshment bar with spa water, tea and wholesome snacks, plus our fitness center with certified personal trainers, yoga, and tai chi instructions available by appointment.
One Ocean Resort and Spa is a perfect beach spa day for us. The fine dining restaurant and lounge are wonderful, so a nice morning at the spa, followed by lunch and use of the the beachfront heated pool and resort amenities (if you are a spa guest), and you have the perfect Atlantic Beach Spa Day.

The medical spa team offers non-surgical skin rejuvenation treatments under the direct supervision of Dr. Pentel, who remains on site (unlike other medical spas with off-site supervision) to ensure effective and safe treatments. I confess I used to be patron of a so-called chop shop. In fast, out fast, inexpensive pedicures and manicures. I knew they used blades and things they were not supposed to, but I thought this was actually a plus — I needed that extra help and thought the regulations and such were a bunch of hooey. I thought spa pedicures were over-priced until I was asked the simple question: “Why do you value your health so little? Is saving $10 worth loosing a nail, a toe, or worse?” NO. At first I went to the most well-known name in Jacksonville, and thought it was great — until it wasn’t great any more (very inconsistent). I went to 4 more salons, in a four (4) month period. Adrienne Michelle’s Salon Spa was superbly clean, bright and airy and cheerful, the decor was so nice, and my nail tech, Karam, did an EXPERT mani pedi for both me and my friend. We’ve now returned twice, and this will be our regular salon spa for nails, for sure, and we are eager to explore the other services.
