Donna provided me with my best facial this year, after a consultation concerning a pesky skin condition I’ve suffered with for years. She told me the particular cosmetics I’ve been using may be irritating my condition and causing flare ups and discussed stress reducing techniques which help calm my skin. While I enjoyed 6 facials in 18 months from several different spas, I’ve most appreciated Donna’s skin care. I followed her recommendations very closely and have never looked or felt better.

BEST BALTIMORE MANICURE AND PEDICURE SALON
OLIVIA ORGANIC NAIL SALON
2110 Eastern Ave, Baltimore 443-708-5133
This eco-conscious and organic nail salon was one of Baltimore’s first, opening in 2016 and quickly becoming a neighborhood favorite for its expert manicures and pedicures, its relaxing setting, competitive prices, and rigorous attention cleanliness and best health protocols for these can-be-tricky services. This includes using only organic products and chemical free polishes, and tools which can be sanitized after each use (clippers and scissors), or, when not, then single-use for the customer to take home (buffers and files).
Simple and to the point – best mani and pedi of the season, a calm and relaxing place without smells of noxious odors, and no loud or intrusive chit chat or loud music. I look at my hands all the time, happy with the outcome, after a visit to Olivia.
BEST BALTIMORE DAY SPA - SPECIALIZED
THE QG
31 South Calvert Street, Baltimore 410-685-7428
Owner Craig Martin launched The QG in 2005 as a four chair grooming shop. It has evolved into one of Baltimore’s most unique Salons and Spas. Mr. Martin’s salon has a distinctly Executive Man vibe, but professional men and women are both welcome. The spa and salon offers barber and styling services, skin care, waxing, massage, manicures and pedicures, and express services for all executives on the go. The full service stop includes tailoring as well as access to a relaxation den dubbed “The Office” with a wet bar, smoking room, poker and billiards, digital entertainment, and humidified lockers.
I’m not a manicure man. I generally stick with a regular massage and a sporadic facial when I’ve sunburned my face. On impulse I added an express Handshake Service and this 15 minute manicure really tidied up my hands and give my handshake its best look for my afternoon presentation. Girlfriend noticed, too.
