Beet Avocado Smoothie – Skyterra Recipe
Skyterra Wellness Retreat in North Carolina has a new partnership with Killer Bees Honey which has brought hives to the southwest slope. The Bees have ramped up for honey-making season and Skyterra’s kitchen uses honey harvested right from Skyterra. This is a guest favorite Beet Avocado Smoothie, a rich, nutrient-packed smoothie perfect for breakfast or to fuel a long afternoon.
Ingredients
- 12 oz. milk - your favorite (oat, soy, coconut, almond) but unsweetened
- ½ raw beet - peeled and chopped
- 1 whole banana - frozen
- ½ whole avocado - peeled and seeded
- ½ cup blackberries -fresh or frozen
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Instructions
- Add all ingredients into a blender and puree until smooth.
- Do not store. Serve immediately.
