Necker Island – British Virgin Islands

Necker Island is Sir Richard Branson’s private island paradise in the British Virgin Islands. Necker is 74 acres in size with a 3-mile perimeter, with numerous trails which will take you around the coast or over the main ridge.  Follow staff on guided tours and learn about the island, or strike out on your own.   If you’ve energy left, play a game of tennis, go sailing, snorkeling, rest in hammocks, or go wind-surfing.    Yoga classes can be arranged at various locations on the island. It’s a great way to appreciate the island’s spectacular sunsets.

The retreat would be complete without spa treatments.  The Bali Leha and Bali Samudra spa treatment rooms combine fabulous spa treatments with an incredible setting. Treatments are offered with Aromatherapy Associates skincare range and include skin care, massage, and more.

The Great House also has an infinity pool with views of Necker Island and of the Caribbean Sea.  There is another infinity pool off the Main Beach, which guests can visit from either the land or the beach.  The swim-up bar with seats in the pool let you sit and enjoy a drink, and then move to the beach front hot tub — gigantic, that one is.  It seats 30!
