My husband and I recently returned from a 5 day trip to Big Cedar Lodge. We loved it! ❤❤❤. It was beautiful. We stayed in one of the private cabins and were quite impressed. Our favorite place to dine was Buzzards Bar. The service was fantastic, especially our waitress Kaylin. The prices seemed kinda high at first until we saw how big the portions of food were. We had to share the small salad because it's big enough to feed three people. The layout of the grounds surrounding are beautiful landscaped.
I took a day at the spa on one of our days. It was the best spa day I've ever experienced. They have the friendliest staff and make you feel so welcome. My massage therapist put my robe in a warmer while I was having my massage. Then when I was finished I put on a warm robe. This trip was so worth the money! We would definitely recommend taking the golf cart tour at Top of the Rock and go when the open, since its first come first serve for the carts. You get to take self guided of beautiful lush trails with waterfalls and caves.
We also went to the Wonders of Wildlife National Aquarium and Museum. Which was incredible! I have been to Sea World in the past but the Aquarium here surpassed it many ways. We could pet stingrays and little sharks. The history museum side shows how Johnny Morris started Bass Pro Shop and his dedication to conservation is evident throughout Big Cedar Lodge and the Aquarium and Museum.
We would like to go back again.
This place was hands down the best place we have went to visit in 2020. I can't wait to go back. They make sure you are happy. Their customer service can not be topped! I would totally recommend for a night or a week! Try the spa. It is life changing.
Stayed here for 5 nights with my wife in the Knotty Pine Cottages. Had a great time all around the premises. Our room was fantastic, the included amenities were spectacular, and every staff member we encountered was very welcoming and pleasant. The location is great as it is just a short 15 minute drive on Highway 65 to all the attractions in Branson. It's close enough to everything in Branson to drive freely, but it's also secluded enough to feel like a whole different place from all the heavy traffic. We will definitely be staying at Big Cedar Lodge next time we come back to this wonderful city. Also, if you have the extra time, the spa is top notch. It is on the pricier side of things, but it is worth every penny.
