Great place to visit and take the family. Clean rooms. Family friendly. Staff is very friendly and always welcoming. Great restaurant options (3 restaurants) from sushi to hamburgers. A little bit for everyone. The pool is very relaxing, hot tube and dry sauna are well kept and very clean. Busy week when we visited, (June 30th) Lots of tour options can be booked via the hotel's staff. Walking distance to the tram.
Large resort hotel with good rooms and friendly staff. The pool, sauna and hot tub are really first class but requires timed reservations during pandemic (a plus for everyone's safety). Rooms and private bathrooms are good quality and bed is very comfortable. Has views of mountains and forests. Ski lift on site. Scenic small pond and outside sitting areas. Has onsite restaurants and room services. Room has Keurig coffee maker and two cups per day. Two full sized towels and basic toiletries. A small refrigerator. Two cotton robes are a nice touch, especially for the trek to the pool from the room. Parking on site. Girdwood restaurants are about two miles away. Has a spa but didn't visit, not sure if it was operating.
We stayed one night on our way to Seward and it was a great experience right from the time we checked in. The resort amenities, the room overlooking the mountain, the pool, the café, tram lift and the breathtaking views at the top, all were top notch experience. We will not hesitate to stay again to the Alyeska resort. Overall, a memorable stay.
