our guests enjoy a breakfast made to order from a menu of organic,
vegetarian fare and served in the guest rooms, guests are encouraged
to participate in Pilates workouts and massage and spa packages.
Karen’s more than 20 years of
experience as a Pilates instructor and massage therapist can enhance
your stay with healing massage and exercise. The Farm's
well-equipped Pilates/exercise studio can accommodate a wide range
of physical needs, and ending your workout with a hot rock massage
is a real treat. Programs include unique, personalized,
private holistic fitness including Pilates equipment, guided hiking
and biking, physio-ball training, nutritional counseling and healthy
cooking lessons. After treatments and exercise, guests are invited
to enjoy excellent hiking trails, wading and basking in river pools,
fishing, and birding.

The Jefferson Pools
Listed on the National Register of
Historic Places and a Virginia Historic Landmark, The Jefferson Pool
House at the Homestead Resort is is considered the oldest spa

constructed an octagonal wooden building around a pool of warm spring
