Retreat Center Our Retreat Center is a world-class holistic health center, where health afflictions and addictions of all kinds is our focus. At our beautiful and exclusive retreat center, we provide an all-inclusive vacation-like atmosphere while taking you on a journey of health and healing. Clients come to recharge their health and regain their sense of well-being. They often have issues with food addictions, depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, weight problems, chronic health problems, substance abuse issues, fibromyalgia or general toxicity, and wish to reclaim their health naturally. CFMNH's Retreat Center hosts many wonderful retreat getaway packages, from simple Bed & Breakfast type stays to elaborate 28-day health rejuvination programs, including juice fasts. The unique 7-day and 28-day programs emphasize correcting the bio-chemical imbalances which lead to addictions and other health problems through the use of customized nutritional supplementation (Orthomolecular Medicine), highly nutritious spa-cuisine, an abundance of massage and bodywork therapies, acupuncture, equine assisted psychotherapy, individual and artistic group therapy, music therapy, sweat lodges, meditations and much more. Our private health retreat offers private, semi-private and exclusive accommodations. The private lake is surrounded by a paved walkway, and is softly lit for quiet, meditative strolls in the evening. Lakeside, you will find a fabulous Nordic II Nordissage Hot Tub, and indoors a FAR-Infrared Sauna, both ready to melt your stress away.  There are many interesting things to see on the property, with hiking trails to connect with nature and get your blood pumping.  Listen to music in the Great Room with its 30’ native stone fireplace or relax on the expansive decks with stunning lake and mountain views.  Read one of the books they provide you with as part of their program, or one from the Natural Health Resource Library for those interested in learning even more about natural health and healing. CFMNH prepares wonderful meals every day for our students, staff and guests. We choose healthy and nutritious menus that include both vegetarian and non-vegetarian fare. Most meals include fresh salad.

The Inn Small-scale and casual, Lakeview at Fontana near Bryson City houses 20 suites, in a cluster of buildings resembling a quaint Mediterranean village with a Greenwich Village ambience, complete with charming courtyard, gourmet coffeehouse, yoga studio, and spa. Our Smoky Mountain resort and spa offers both Queen bungalow rooms and Casual Comfort Suites, outfitted with special amenities. Especially suited for the outdoor enthusiast, our accommodations are simple, clean and comfortable. Occupancy is kept to a cozy minimum, ensuring privacy, relaxation, rejuvenation, and plenty of elbowroom. The surrounding  45 acres embrace a spring-fed outdoor swimming pool, scenic hiking trail and, of course, spectacular views of Fontana Lake and the Great Smoky Mountains.  Our North Carolina Resort and Spa is secluded, affordable, and decidedly low-key. Bungalows and suites offer the perfect refuge for those who prefer their mountain breezes scented with the rich aroma of a cafe mocha. The Spa In the intimate six room spa, guests are nurtured with a full-sensory experience -- aromatherapy, soothing music, and candlelit treatments including our signature treatment, the Aromatic Hot Towel Massage, which combines a deep massage with steaming towels steeped in aromatic herbs and spices.   Treatments include revitalizing facials incorporating natural ingredients such as pomegranate, wasabi, red wine, various exfoliating & detoxifying body treatments, and a full menu of stress relieving massages.
