I saw some nice pictures online, and was impressed by the list of services offered. We decided it looked like a great place to spend the day to relax with our excited and nervous bride-to-be. We relaxed by a plunge pool before each of us had a spa treatment. We were offered cold beverages and were able to slip out to enjoy a wonderful lunch on a cute patio in Bobcaygon. We were all impressed with the facility and the aesthetician, and would highly recommend it to anyone. I spent a most memorable time at Ste Anne's Country Inn & Spa this past weekend with my sister. She suffers from lupus, and also has career stress which worsens her health. I brought her to the spa hopeful that it would help her unwind and also slow the progress of the disease. When I picked her up from her new and stressful job, she was tied up in a million knots. As I watched her throughout the weekend, I could see the stress melt away with each treatment from the caring and skilled staff. I am so grateful for the kind, courteous and skilled service. The accommodations, food, treatments and the atmosphere did more for her in this one weekend than a month-long vacation could have done. As we were driving home on Sunday, she began to cry, saying that she had never felt more relaxed, pampered, and serene. We will be going back and recommending it to all our friends. -- T.B.

Ste. Anne's was my first spa getaway, and it was everything I expected it to be. From the moment my sister-in-law and I arrived, we both noticed the warm and inviting atmosphere, which was likely a combination of the subtle but ever-present aromatherapy that lingers in the air, the soothing music playing quietly in the background and the pleasant and friendly staff that greeted us with a welcoming smile and referring to us by our first names, instantly making us feel comfortable and like we belonged there. They have their own bottled water which is available at no cost anytime from the fridge. The mud bathe there was the coolest thing. It gives you this amazing feeling of weightlessness, since you are suspended in the thick solution, not touching the bottom or anything, so there's no pressure on any part of your body. The woman who was helping with the mud bath treatment (and believe me, you need help! Getting out of that tub while you're covered with 50-100 pounds of mud is no easy task!) said that she once heard the sensation described as how perhaps a baby must feel while still in the womb - warm, relaxed, safe, floating. It was quite a powerful image, and soothing at the same time. The steam room is scented with eucalyptus aromatherapy, so when you get out you feel invigorated and stimulated, rather than lethargic. They have a wonderful waiting room which has many windows so there is a lot of natural light, where you can read, drink herbal teas, or even have a nap between treatments. This was my first and best spa experience to date, and every year I check out a new place, and compare it to this one. The food here is incredible, the service impeccable, and the treatments all exceeded my expectations (little things like getting to take home the "dry brush" used for your body treatments). There isn't one thing I would have changed - except maybe next time stay for an extra day! I would, and have,
