Nestled high in the Himalayas between
China and India, Nepal rises from almost sea level to Mount
Everest at 8,848 meters, and squeezes eight of the world's 10
highest peaks between its landlocked borders. Nepal borders with
Tibet on the north and India in the east, south and the west.
Pokhara is 200 kilometers west from Kathmandu, sleeps peacefully alongside a
three- kilometer long lake at the foothills of the mighty Annapurna and the peak
of Fish Tail Mountain. Here gushing rivers cut great gorges that feed the lakes
amongst the rising peaks. The Fulbari Resort and Spa is situated on
the Green Canyon above the Seti Gorge 5 kms south west of Pokhara city. The

GETTING TO THE FULBARI RESORT & SPA |

The Fulbari Resort
& Spa is 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu, capital city of Nepal. It
is 5-6 Hours by road through scenic countryside from Kathmandu.
Surface connections to Pokhara is also from Narayanghat and Sunauli
at the Nepal-India border. It is 20 to 30 minutes flight to Pokhara
Airport from the Domestic Airport at Tribhuvan International
Airport, Kathmandu. Direct helicopter flights from Kathmandu,
Chitwan National Park, Lumbini, and other points to the Resort's own
heliport can also be arranged, utilizing the resort's own heliports. |

Nepal
is a landlocked nation in South Asia, bordering People's Republic of
China (Tibet) to the north and India to the south, east and west.
Until 2006, Nepal was officially the only Hindu state in the world. On
May 18, 2006, Nepal was declared a secular state by the Interim
Parliament of Nepal. On December 28, 2007, the interim parliament passed
a bill and declared Nepal to be a federal democratic republic.
The current king, Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev, will be the last king
of Nepal if the present ruling parties win the scheduled April 2008
elections. For a relatively small country, Nepal has a diverse
landscape, ranging from the humid Terai plainlands in the south to the
mountainous Himalayas in the north. Eight of the world's top ten highest
mountains, including the highest one, Mount Everest, are in Nepal.
