The spa experience at Alun Alun Spa, Pantai Cenang, Langkawi, was a negative one. Firstly, the therapist for my husband was not feeling well and was coughing and having sinus throughout the one hour massage. I couldn't relax as H1N1 virus is prevalent and most health authorities had informed people not to be in close contact with people showing flu and/or cough symptoms. Secondly, we were informed that they could arrange transport from and to our hotel. But when we arrived and chosen our massage service, we were told that as our chosen service did not add up to a minimum of Ringgit 500, they could not arrange return transport for us. The tea they served at the end of the treatment had an insect in it. When the bill was shown to us, there was a 10% service charge. A different spa which we visited earlier on the same day did not charge this so-called service charge and arranged transport from and to our hotel free-of-charge, even though the distance was further.

I have visited Atouch Spa several times. Although I could consider the spa as a 3 star class of spa, the environment and professional therapists make me see them as a 5 star spa. I've already tried many of their variety type of massages and rituals that they offer. The prices, cleanliness and the marvelous experiences that I have had keep me coming back. If anyone out there plans to visit KL Malaysia do drop by and try out this spa.
