Dr. Stephen Krant and Kelly Costa from SK Sanctuary in La Jolla, California created a unique spa program for women either fighting with, or in remission from, breast cancer. SK Sanctuary opens its doors to anyone with a current or past diagnosis of breast cancer and offers them spa treatments for free. It happens on the last Tuesday of every month.  “These women need pampering, especially with what they're going through. They really respond to the company of others who have either gone through or are experiencing the same struggle with possibly losing one or both breasts,” said Costa, spa director at SK Sanctuary.
